Young at Art Exhibit ~ March 25 - April 3, 2010

| Join the excitement when the
Art Museum’s Young at Art Exhibit opens on March 25. With our gallery walls filled with vibrant art from elementary and junior high school
students, we celebrate the voices of young artists. This annual exhibit is a tremendous opportunity for students to share their art with the
community and celebrate the arts in regional schools. The opening reception for the Young at Art Exhibit is Saturday, March 27 from 11 am – 4 pm
when students and their families can tour the exhibit and participate in creating a larger-than-life wall sculpture. |

| HOW TO PARTICIPATE |
Each school is invited to select 36 pieces of outstanding
original artwork to display in the Young at Art Exhibit. Only one entry per student will be allowed.
Grades K through 9 are eligible.
Submitted artwork should not exceed 14-in x 18-in. and should be presented with a black mat or mounted on a piece of black construction paper.
Any two-dimensional art medium is welcome.
No glassed or framed art will be accepted.
Each piece of artwork must have an exhibit label (see entry form) attached to the back that lists the
student name, grade, school, and classroom teacher.
When delivered, art from each school must be accompanied by a list of the participating
artists, including their names, grades, schools, and classroom teachers.
Art must be delivered between Tuesday, March 2 and Saturday, March 13 to the Art
Museum during regular operating hours, 11 am - 5 pm. |

Artwork available for pickup at the Museum starting April 9 from 11 am to 5 pm. The last day for pickup is Saturday, May 1. The Museum is not responsible for art not picked up by May 1.
