CLAY STUDIO with Dustin Thompson

Explore throwing pots on the pottery wheel, hand-building techniques and the glazing process to create fun and functional pieces. Open to students of all skill levels.

Studio fee includes clay, tools, use of pottery wheel, instruction, glazes and firing.

Join artist Diane Earnest and certified yoga instructor Kara Denning for this actively creative workshop! Come experience the intertwining of yoga and art by flowing from movement to self-expression. Please wear comfy clothes and bring a yoga mat. Snacks and water will be provided.

Palette Knife Painting in Oil

Have you been using a painting knife to mix colors but aren't sure how to use it to apply paint? This workshop will demonstrate how to get great results painting with a palette knife. Using a knife properly in a painting can create beautiful crisp edges and fine details. Learn techniques to paint architectural and landscape environments and gain new understanding of color, texture and painterly application with oil paints. All skill levels are welcome.

Watercolor Workshop
with Carl Purcell

Join Carl Purcell in this three-day workshop and learn how to see objects as patterns of color, line and shape. Explore how to respond to these patterns to create a painting that will appear loose, realistic and unified. Achieve vivid color, rich darks and a degree of realism that may amaze you. Demonstrations will be in watercolor, but the principles apply to oil and acrylic painting as well. All levels of experience are welcome. Supply list available upon request.
