CLAY STUDIO with Dustin Thompson

Explore throwing pots on the pottery wheel, hand-building techniques and the glazing process to create fun and functional pieces. Open to students of all skill levels.

Studio fee includes clay, tools, use of pottery wheel, instruction, glazes and firing.

Authentic Art Making: A Course in Connection and Creativity
with Sue Tyler

Artist/instructor Sue Tyler believes the closer we draw to the “Source” (inspiration from the natural world), the more we are able to experience an authentic form of art making. Transcend old ideas and barriers that prevent mindful art making by rediscovering the power art has to create harmony and wholeness in your world. This three-day workshop is sure to bring a renewed sense of mindfulness to your own artistic endeavors. Artists of all levels are welcome.

Summer Workshop for Educators

This four-day workshop is designed for educators who are interested in hands-on learning in the visual arts. Course curriculum is designed for the needs of teachers who would like to explore simple and practical art processes that can be easily applied to their classrooms. In addition, this workshop will highlight inexpensive yet quality tools and art materials teachers can use throughout the school year.

$70 TAM Members, $80 Non-Members

Melon & Berries Watercolor Workshop with Linda Aman

Learn the techniques of creating luminous highlights on fruit from distinguished IWS member Linda Aman. Cantaloupe slices and strawberries will serve as the subject matter during this one-day workshop at TAM. All skill levels welcome.
