ART ATTACK: ON LINE with Alexa Stanger
September 8 – 29, Wednesdays, 3:30 – 4:30 pm, Ages 6 – 8
Wavy, straight, zig-zag and loop-de-loop! Use clay, wire, paint and pens to explore the power of line and make incredible works of art.
$25 member, $30 non-member, per 4-week session

ART STUDIO: CLAY SCULPTURE with David Jones
September 9 – 30, Thursdays, 3:30 – 5 pm, Ages 9 – 11
Learn about the various approaches to hand building sculpture with clay. Create cool art that you can use and build unusual and amazing sculpture.
$35 member, $40 non-member, per 4-week session

MAKE A MESS with Ellen McCarthy
October 6 – 27, Wednesdays, 1 – 2 pm, Ages 3 – 4
Have fun, get messy and be creative with your kids! Children make a new discovery in art each week working side-by side with their favorite grown-up.
$25 member, $30 non-member, per 4-week session

ART ATTACK: SHAPE UP with Ellen McCarthy
October 6 – 27, Wednesdays, 3:30 – 4:30 pm, Ages 6 – 8
Explore how artists use geometric and organic shapes to create amazing works of art. Make your own designs and use paint, collage and printmaking to bring your creations to life!
$25 member, $30 non-member, per 4-week session

FIVE with Margie Zirker
October 6 – 27, Wednesdays, 3:30 – 4:30 pm, Ages 5
A class just for five year olds! This session focuses on learning about colors using the art of Miro, a famous Spanish surrealist. He used bright colors and created imaginative forms both on canvas and in sculpture. The emphasis is on fun and exploration with interesting art materials including paint, pastels, and wooden shapes.
$25 member, $30 non-member, per 4-week session

ART STUDIO: SCULPTURE & ASSEMBLAGE with David Jones
October 7 – 28, Thursdays, 3:30 – 5 pm, Ages 9 – 11
Create a unique sculpture in an art process that includes wire, cellulose clay and paint. Then create an assemblage using found materials.
$35 member, $40 non-member, per 4-week session

EXHIBIT DISCOVERY with Ellen McCarthy
November 13, Saturday, 11 am – 1 pm, Ages 7 – 10
Explore artist Gerald Griffin’s exhibit Eternity’s View, highlighting symbols from early Mormon culture, then head into our classroom to design your own symbol and create an amazing work of art!
$15 member, $18 non-member

ELVES WORKSHOP with Margie Zirker
December 4, Saturday, 10 am – 2 pm, Ages 7 – 11
Santa’s elves have the most fun when they create personal holiday gifts for the two favorite adults in their lives. Each gift will reflect the love of the young artist who made it and is sure to be unique. But, sorry, we can’t even whisper what we will be making, because then it wouldn’t be a surprise!
$20 member, $25 non-member

A limited number of scholarships for at-need students are available upon review of the application and references. Our scholarship funds are available to students under the age of 18.
